Could we need another note about good client relations? I don’t know, maybe. Repeat lessons are not a bad thing. This is only kinda-sorta one of those times.
A favorite author of short stories to narrate is Will Bevis. His work simply touches me in a way that is hard to explain. It isn’t the perfect language or the most precise and accurate grammar either. The stories are real. That is to say they are not just true they are real life true to the heart observations of the things in life that can’t be explained.
The point is, my point is, we communicated through the work and let each other how it moved us and what it meant to each of us. The communication was real life true to the heart.
Client relations can become much more than just business as usual. Doing narration is not in it’s self business as usual anyway. We narrators and you authors are doing this for reasons far beyond what others may understand.
This professional relationship has gone personal and has had some of the authors work dedicated to me. That is more than can be expected.
