Fluid is one way to describe my ideas as to what is best for editing. There was a time when I would listen in real time to the books one chapter at a time to find and correct issues. Restarts, misspoken words and the like. Then came the shortcuts. Doing editing in a way that would save me a lot of time and get the audiobook moving to market. Time saved is not always real. Going back and fixing what was missed with the shortcuts s not efficient.
Now again real time is the way I am editing. I could contract this part out and move on, however I still want to hear how the books sound and weather or not I am satisfied with the interpretation. Sometimes I redo a like or phrase just to make the content sell the message of the author.
